Just You and Me

Love streaks
Through the air,
Coming at me
Like a locomotive.

I feel your presence
Next to me.
The warmth of your breath
Calms my nerves.

I caress your face,
Your beautiful curves.
Your gentle embrace
Is my salvation.

Shall we go together
Down this road?
Shall we hold onto
The faith and hope

That strengthens us?
The love that guides us
Prepares a way
For our dance of ecstasy,

Come, my love,
Let us rendezvous
At the well of liberty.
I will be me,

And you will be you.
We will be free
To be exactly
Who we were meant to be.

Just you and me.
