Our Own Traveler

Every day

We find our rhythm

In much the same routine.

We meet different people

That color our lives

With dignity and love,

And leave a lasting impression.

These instances are rare.

We go round in circles,

Making our indentation

In life, the world and time.

Like a beautiful sea shell

We become a treasure

Through our experiences,

Our relationships,

And our gifts.

    1. Well, I hope so. With an eternal perspective that understands us inside and out, one would see that we are beautiful. But believe me, I also understand that we cannot be blamed for being quite cynical about it all occassionally. 🙂

    1. Thank you. I’m glad you like that line. I thought about it later and had second thoughts, since a treasure can also be something stolen. But that’s not how I meant it. Just something wonderful. Thanks again.

    1. well, rut’s aren’t so bad. at least you have stability. that’s something to be thankful for. but I understand that a rut can seem to hold us back. I’m not one for growth upon growth, though. I’m just glad to have no drama. I guess it just depends on your perspective. 🙂
