Daddy Forgive Me

Nothing escapes your watchful eye.

You were there

When I was under the fig tree.

You saw my sin, and

You heard my cry, deep inside.

You never left me.

Oh, I screamed aloud, but

It wasn’t to you.

I pounded my fists, but

Not at you.

But when I did those things

To the least of these,

I did them to you.

Daddy forgive me

For what I did.
