Closing my eyes, I can feel the beat.

The rhythm pulses through my body.

I feel my weight pushing

Through my feet and onto the floor.

The evening captures my spirit.

I am spellbound, enchanted with

Freedom, my lost love of yesterday.

Touching, so gentle it scares me. Hands

Entwined, lips kissing. Quietude

Surrounds us. Inside, our souls purr like

A kitten. Laughing–giggling, even. You

Disarm me with your loving manner.
