Coming on the scene,
I had felt to fuel the fire.
Comfortable for a while,
Then sensed a bump in style.
Being there a little longer,
It was a knuckle from the fellow.
I waited and waited,
To be transfixed by anywho.
But it never happened,
No connection.
Just rah, rah, rah,
And bring in the electrician.

Fellowship or fellowshipping is, perhaps just in the North American South, when a group of Christians get together and enjoy each other’s presence in a “spiritual” way that is beneficial to all. Sometimes its more than its cracked up to be.
It seems to me he, you, were very disappointed.

yes, thanks. i am mostly disappointed with god, then his emisseries, then myself. spriritual activity seems more a show than anything.
sad, well put.
quantity change leads to quality changes, keep it up.
I can relate. Sometimes I feel a need to recharge after draining fellowshipping. Hope that sense of connection comes.
Sorry to hear about your trouble, but that goes to the heart of what I mean.
Fellowship is supposed to be energizing, so when its not, is God not there? It’s usually blamed on people, but I don’t buy that rationalization. That’s what we do any time God doesn’t meet expectations.
Short and sweet (well not sweet, but you know what I mean)– like it.
